  • Operate as an inside sales representative providing ongoing support and administrative assistance to the company’s sales representative and customers
  • Direct contact with the customer and ensure they have a high level of confidence in our ability to meet their requirements and expectations
  • When required, face-to-face/video conference interaction with customers
  • Provide quotes to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Verify the accuracy of purchase orders against the quote and/or standards before sending them to the Inside Sales Support
  • Provide technical assistance to customers
  • Ensure orders are shipped on time and manage undelivered orders
  • Liaise with administrative, technical and operational departments to provide expedited order flow and successful resolution of customer requests
  • Resolve all related issues using tenacity, perseverance and a high level of tact
  • Manage product evaluations (demos)
  • Successfully promote and advocate for the company as a full-service enterprise IT systems integrator
  • Maintain and develop a high level of knowledge of new technologies, product and solution offerings
  • Prepare for product transition and deployment for assigned accounts

  • You must be an energetic, professional, dedicated and positive individual who feels empowered to take ownership of customers and take all necessary steps to resolve account issues
  • Experience in the computer industry and strong technical product knowledge is an asset
  • A philosophy that the customer experience is first and foremost meaningful and an ability to solve customer needs creatively and effectively is key to the success of this role
  • Previous experience in communications, development, maintenance and servicing of large accounts is an asset
  • Knowledge of marketing procedures, IT product technology (hardware, software and networks) and sales cycles
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Experience working for a value-added reseller or experience with a distributor would be beneficial
  • Post secondary education or 2+ years of work experience
