Our client is looking for a Quality Manager to develop strategic quality improvement initiatives. This is an ideal opportunity to make your mark in this aerospace company!

This strategic position reports directly to the President of the company where you will be responsible for developing strategic quality improvement initiatives to achieve established objectives.

Your challenge :

  • Organize work in the department to meet priorities and deadlines;
  • Coordinate internal and external audits (AS9100, ISO14401 etc.);
  • Perform effective management of the personnel under your responsibility and see to their training, development and compliance with standards.

Your tasks :

  • Manage inspection standards (finished parts, in-process parts, first part, inspection report, non-conforming parts, calibration, FAI etc.);
  • Manage the objectives, performance indicators related to quality, identification of corrective actions and follow-ups to ensure the fluidity and efficiency of the inspection process;
  • Manage the development, implementation, improvement and maintenance of product quality at our suppliers and internally;
  • Work in close collaboration with the various departments (production, technical, etc.);
  • Prepare and lead the weekly quality/machine performance clinic;
  • Evaluate, manage risks and ensure the implementation of corrective actions when necessary (CPA, NC etc.);
  • Manage customer deviation requests (RFA);
  • Lead the management and investigation of customer complaints;
  • Regular meetings or communications with customers as needed for issues related to the quality of parts;
  • Follow-up and control of supplier certificates (NADCAP, ISO, AS etc.);
  • Management and follow-up of documentation (procedures, instructions, customer specification forms, etc.)
  • Performs effective management of his staff and the inspection department. (Training, discipline, evaluation).

Skills :

  • Must come from the aerospace industry;
  • Must have a BAC or DEC in mechanical engineering or other and have a certificate in management and quality assurance;
  • At least 5 years experience in personnel and project management;
  • Bilingual.
