What’s the role?
Reporting to the Development Manager, the Section Manager plans and coordinates the activities of the high and low voltage electrical functions of bus platforms.
On a day-to-day basis, you will :
- Assign mandates and priorities for each team member;
- Support the manager and play an active role in group management;
- Be responsible for evaluating your team’s performance;
- Contribute to the implementation of processes related to team deliverables;
- Monitor the progress of projects and deliverables;
- Ensure the application of industry best practices.
What you need to succeed in this position
Skills:
- Knowledge of product development principles
- Knowledge of school bus and transit industry requirements and standards
- Bilingualism (French and English to ensure coordination with foreign suppliers)
- Knowledge of Catia V6 is an asset
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
Abilities:

Education and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field;
- 3 to 5 years management experience;
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec
