Our client specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of electronic broadcasting and real-time networking systems for video, audio and communications. Their products are used for broadcast, pro-audio, sports event, theater and security applications worldwide. This company is known for pioneering digital audio matrix systems and fiber-based real-time network technology.

Their headquarters are located in Wuppertal, Germany, where they employ more than 700 people in more than 20 locations across Europe, Australia, Asia and the Americas.

Due to a big boom in North America, it’s time to strengthen their global human resources team with the addition of a passionate ambassador for their Montreal office, who will be responsible for the human resource function for all North America. Your area of responsibility :
  • Provide professional HR consulting and support for the company in Canada and the United States.

  • Answer questions from employees and the manager about HR policies, processes and other items (recruitment, engagement, learning, performance, compensation, retention).

  • Advise on performance management issues and take the lead on minor investigations and reorganizations.

  • Execute the operations of the HR process:

    • Maintain HRIS data.

    • Manage and insure bi-monthly (external) pay.

    • Perform an HR report.

  • Assist the global HR manager and business partners with the plan and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.

  • Deployment of HR programs.

  • Foster the further professionalization of people’s overall functions through valuable shared knowledge.

  • Actively contribute to best practices.

  • Have a positive attitude.

Required Skills :
  • Bachelor of Human Resources or equivalent.

  • 3-5 years of experience in the field, ideally in a high technology environment and / or skills to understand technological requirements.

  • Knowledge of the North American market and the legal framework in the United States (California) and Canada (Quebec).

  • Distinctive, coupled problem-solving and agile thinking skills have strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong work ethic and professional attitude combined with high standards of excellence and discretion.

  • Bilingualism – English and French absolutely necessary.

  • The international integration of this position requires being prepared to travel frequently to the United States (quarterly) and to Europe (half-year).
