The Internal Sales Manager is responsible for supervising, motivating, and developing the team of inside sales representatives to ensure sales objectives are met and exceeded. A motivating leader, they ensure their team’s performance through proactive management of key performance indicators (KPIs) while optimizing the use of Salesforce CRM to support sales strategies. The Internal Sales Manager play a central role in the continuous improvement of sales processes and maximizing team effectiveness.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and motivate the team of inside sales representatives in a performance-driven and collaborative environment.
- Define clear objectives for the team, ensure rigorous tracking using Salesforce, and implement appropriate action plans.
- Analyze sales data from Salesforce to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and optimize strategies.
- Develop, recommend, and implement improvements to sales administration processes to increase efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Sales to ensure the planning, execution, and monitoring of departmental projects.
- Provide regular reports on results, trends, and KPIs, while suggesting areas for improvement.
- Ensure the application of best practices in inside sales, customer relationship management, and compliance.
- Promote a culture of open communication, collaboration, and professional development within the team.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure sales actions align with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in Salesforce, ensuring data quality and traceability.
- Be an ambassador of the company’s values by demonstrating professionalism, ethics, and customer service.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in sales, business administration, or a relevant field.
- Experience as an inside sales manager.
- Significant experience managing a team in an inside sales environment.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and excellent proficiency with MS Excel.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, both orally and in writing, as the company has clients located outside the country.
- Solid understanding of B2B sales processes and sales administration.
- Knowledge of an ERP (an asset).
- Knowledge of the telemetry industry (an asset).
- In-depth understanding of the sales administration process.
- Active leadership and excellent team management skills.
- Strong communication, listening, and change management skills.
- Analytical, results-oriented mindset with a data-driven approach.
- Technological curiosity and the ability to quickly learn new digital tools.
- Initiative, rigor, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
